1. Should I be concerned about placing shoes under the bed, potentially affecting purity or causing bad dreams?
Placing shoes under the bed is generally permissible. However, based on Kabbalistic teachings, it's advised not to place shoes near the head while sleeping (Chida in Avodat HaKodesh Part 2, Chapter 7).

2. I frequently have unsettling dreams about my sister. Is this something I should act upon?
Most dreams today are insignificant and should not be a cause of concern. Still, if a disturbing dream leaves you worried, it's advisable to perform a "dream amelioration" ceremony before three friends, ideally close ones (the text can be found in prayer books). Alternatively, attend a Shacharit prayer and recite the formula during the Priestly Blessing (try to conclude as the priests finish saying "shalom" so that the congregation's "amen" applies to your prayer too).
Master of the universe, I am yours and my dreams are yours. I dreamed a dream and do not know its meaning. May it be your will, Hashem, my God and the God of my forefathers, that all my dreams about myself and all of Israel be positive. Whether dreams I had about myself or others had about me, if they are good, strengthen and affirm them, and may they be fulfilled like the dreams of Joseph the righteous. If they require healing, heal them like Hezekiah King of Judah from his illness, and Miriam the prophetess from her leprosy, like Naaman from his leprosy, the bitter waters by Moses, and the waters of Jericho by Elisha. Just as you transformed Balaam's curse into a blessing, so transform all my dreams about myself and Israel for good, protect me, and grant me grace and favor. Amen.

3. Are dream interpretations real, or is there a Torah basis? Can the book 'Dream Interpretations' be taken seriously?

4. I'm dealing with fears and anxieties from bad dreams. The rabbi advised saying the Shema and the Bedtime Blessing, but sometimes these feelings persist during the day.
Diligently practice ritual hand washing whenever necessary.

5. Troubling dreams keep me awake and concerned. Do they reflect reality? How can I stop dreaming or forget them? Does a negative dream indicate something about me?
If you disregard the dreams, they will cease.

6. I had a dream about a not very large black snake hiding behind a closet, repeatedly revealing itself and flicking its tongue. The fear in the dream was palpable, and I constantly wondered if others were nearby. What could this mean?
Most dreams today lack significant meaning. That said, dreaming about snakes can sometimes hint at stable livelihood.
