#VALUE!
You probably use a computer mouse all the time, but do you know who invented it? His name was Douglas Engelbart, an American inventor who came up with the idea in the 1960s. Even though he helped create many of the things we use on computers today, most people don’t know his name. He also helped develop the computer screen interface we’re familiar with and made many other important contributions to technology.
What Are Corals?
Corals might look like colorful underwater plants, but they’re actually tiny sea animals. They belong to a group called marine invertebrates, animals without a backbone. Their scientific name, “Anthozoa,” comes from Greek and means “living flowers.”
Each coral is small, but they live close together in big groups called coral reefs. These reefs come in all kinds of shapes and bright colors and provide homes for many types of fish and sea creatures.
What’s the Densest Country in the World?
The small country of Monaco holds the record for being the most crowded country. It’s located on the Mediterranean coast and is surrounded by France. Monaco is only about two square kilometers in size, with around 36,000 people living there. That means about 18,000 people live in every square kilometer!
But the place with the highest population density isn’t actually a country, it’s Macau, a small region in China. In Macau, more than 25,000 people live in each square kilometer. That’s a lot of people in a very small space!
