• Did you know about animal imprinting?
Imprinting is something that happens with many animals right after they’re born. Usually, they follow their mother. But if they see someone or something else first, even a human or object they may follow that instead, even as they grow up. This process is called “imprinting” and sometimes it even helps save animals whose mothers didn’t survive.

• How do cans preserve food?
Canned food stays fresh because the air is removed from the can before sealing it. Without air, bacteria can’t survive, so the food stays good for a long time.

• What’s the world’s longest river?
The Amazon River in South America is the longest river in the world, about 7,040 kilometers! It runs through nine countries and pours over 100,000 cubic meters of water into the ocean every second. It’s surrounded by the Amazon Rainforest, the biggest forest on Earth, which covers over 6 million square kilometers.

• Have you seen Chile’s marble caves?
These stunning caves were carved by the waters of Lake Carrera and are made of smooth limestone. They’re found on the border of Chile and Argentina and are known for their beautiful colors and shapes.
