1. Did You Know Which Horse Helped Win a War?
Long ago, when ancient Greece wanted to conquer the city of Troy, they had a problem: the city had strong walls and tough defenders. So the Greeks built a huge wooden horse and gave it to Troy as a "gift of peace." But hidden inside were Greek soldiers. That night, they came out, opened the gates, and let the army in. That’s how the Greeks won and it’s where the term “Trojan Horse” comes from.

It’s called the African Pygmy Falcon. This tiny bird weighs just about 60 grams and has a wingspan of around 60 centimeters. Don’t let its size fool you, it’s still a skilled hunter.

Flies and dragonflies have “compound eyes.” That means their eyes are made of thousands of tiny lenses. These lenses help them notice movement really well, which helps them escape from predators, even though their vision isn’t very sharp.

The Baobab tree in Africa looks like it has its roots sticking up into the air! Its wide trunk stores a huge amount of water, up to 120,000 liters which helps it survive in dry places.

7. Did You Know Which Spider Lives Underwater?
The Water Spider builds its nest under the water. It traps air bubbles in the hairs on its body and brings them down to the nest, which looks like a diving bell. Inside this bubble nest, the spider can live and breathe safely.
