#VALUE!
What once felt like a scene from a science fiction movie is now a reality. A Slovak company, Klein Vision, has created the AirCar 2, a car that can fly. In just 90 seconds, it transforms from a road vehicle into an aircraft, exciting people around the world.
The AirCar 2 isn’t for sale just yet, but it’s expected to hit the market in 2026. The price? About $800,000.
Leading the project is Professor Stefan Klein, an engineer and pilot who spent nearly ten years turning this dream into something real. "It has a sleek design, two doors, and seats for two people,” he explains. “The wings and rear tail unfold automatically, and in just a minute and a half, it becomes a plane.”
The AirCar 2 can fly up to 1,000 kilometers and reach speeds of 250 kilometers per hour. It uses a lightweight piston engine and smart design to stay efficient and safe. So far, it has completed over 200 test flights, even flying between airports in different European countries.
In an exciting step forward, the Slovak aviation authority has given the AirCar 2 official approval to fly. That makes it one of the first car-airplanes in the world to receive such permission.
Right now, this high-tech vehicle is a luxury item but it shows us what the future might look like. A car that drives on the road and flies in the sky? It’s no longer just a fantasy.
