Actor Jon Voight Condemns Daughter Angelina Jolie for Anti-Israel Views

Veteran actor Jon Voight, known for his staunch support of Israel, criticized his daughter, Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, who frequently publishes what he calls her anti-Jewish views.

Voight, who has previously criticized his daughter’s political stance on the war between Israel and the Palestinians and even tried to dissuade her from her pro-Palestinian positions, now accuses her of particularly serious things. “She is ignorant, influenced by antisemites and trapped in their bubble,” he said in a new interview published in Variety magazine. “She once served as an ambassador for a refugee agency, and to this day she is affected by the U.N.’s propaganda under the guise of ‘human rights.’ It’s nothing more than anti-Israeli propaganda.”

He made the remarks after releasing a video in which he declared his disappointment that his daughter — like many others, does not understand that the goal of the terrorists is to erase the Jewish homeland, and therefore the Israeli army must fight for the right of his country to exist. “This is a war. Israel was attacked by a terrorist organization that murdered defenseless women and children, and in your foolishness you blame Israel,” he said in that video.
