In a recent interview with a major American magazine, Hollywood actor Jon Voight criticizes his daughter, actress Angelina Jolie, accusing her of being 'ignorantly trapped in an antisemitic bubble.'
Veteran actor Jon Voight, known for his strong support of Israel, is once again criticizing his Hollywood actress daughter Angelina Jolie for frequently publicizing her antisemitic views.
Voight, who has previously criticized her political stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and tried to dissuade her from her pro-Palestinian beliefs, now levels particularly harsh accusations. "She is ignorantly influenced by antisemitic people and trapped in their bubble," he stated in a new interview published in 'Variety.' "She once served as an ambassador for a refugee agency and is still influenced by the UN's propaganda under the guise of 'human rights.' It's nothing more than anti-Israel propaganda."
He made these comments after releasing a video where he expressed his disappointment that his daughter, like many others, does not understand that terrorists aim to erase the Jewish state, necessitating Israel's military fight for its right to exist. "It's a war. Israel was attacked by a terrorist organization that murdered defenseless women and children, and in your foolishness, you blame Israel," he said in that video.
