About a week ago, a young girl named Omer Kadosh gave an emotional interview where she bravely shared a poem about the bullying she faces at her school. "They created groups without me and held meetings without me," she says in the video, struggling to hold back tears. "They thought I didn’t know, and they gossiped about me. I always felt guilty, wondering what was wrong with me. They called me weird and crazy. I just wanted to hide in my room. Suicidal thoughts started running through my mind."
When asked by the interviewer if the bullying included violence, Kadosh confirmed it did. "In seventh grade, a boy choked me. They even spit on me."
When she told the teacher, the boy claimed it was a joke and nothing was done. However, thankfully, since the interview, Omer has found new strength from the overwhelming support and positive messages she received. These messages have brought smiles to her face and have empowered her to cope with this tough ordeal.
