Miracle in Minnesota: Last-Minute Rescue From Balloon Mishap

Minnesota: Three people were saved at the last moment in a miraculous event when the hot air balloon they were in collided with power lines, became entangled, and started to catch fire.

The incident occurred last Wednesday in the city of Rochester. Several passersby who were in the area and noticed the unfolding drama managed to capture the frightening scene.

Officials reported that the balloon's pilot attempted to land in a field next to a highway, but a sudden strong gust of wind pushed the balloon directly into the power lines. This caused the balloon's basket to detach from the balloon and crash hard onto the ground.

"The three survivors are extremely lucky to be alive," said the rescue teams who were called to the scene and took the three injured individuals to hospitals. "Two out of the three were very lightly injured, while another sustained moderate injuries."

The balloon was later located several kilometers from the point where the basket fell.
