Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared today (Tuesday) that the parents of Sgt. Roi Dawi, who was killed in a battle in Gaza, sent him a Book of Psalms dedicated to their son’s memory, calling on him to carry on the campaign until victory over Hamas.

"Sergeant Roi Dawi from Jerusalem, a platoon leader in the Givati Brigade, fell in a battle in northern Gaza," Netanyahu wrote online. "His parents, Aryeh and Betty, and his family sent me a Book of Psalms today, with this message: 'Anyone who dreamed of joining the Givati knew he might pay with his life, and that never stopped him for a moment. Those who walked with us knew that in death, they would grant life to others. Thank you for all the hugs and support from near and far. We stand with you - until the end!'"

Netanyahu concluded: "We continue until the end. Until absolute victory. For Roi the hero, for all our fallen, for securing Israel’s eternity."
