#VALUE!
This week, a vote concluded with 66% in favor of deleting the Wikipedia entry for Eliahu Yossian, an analyst and Iran researcher.
As known, Yossian rose to prominence and became a popular figure since the start of the 'Swords of Iron' conflict. However, during a week-long vote, a debate emerged among participants: some advocated for creating the entry, while others argued it was 'too soon' to write it. Nonetheless, the leading voices in favor of deletion suggested that the entry could be reinstated if Yossian continues to 'shine' in the media in the coming months.
"It would have been wise for the creators of the entry to wait and not write it immediately upon his rise to fame in Israel," wrote a Wikipedia editor who also supported the deletion. "Not every commentator appearing on TV studios automatically deserves an entry. It's not serious." Another editor, who was in favor of keeping the entry, wrote that Yossian "appears frequently in the media and likely has influence, and it is probable he will continue to have influence after the conflict. Additionally, if viewers search for information about him - it should be available on Wikipedia."
It's still unclear who is behind the entry's creation. When Yossian was asked if he had any idea who was responsible for his Wikipedia entry, he answered no.
