Ever since I discovered it, it not only cleans the oven thoroughly from oil stains but also removes any lingering bad odors.

Pour a cup of white vinegar into a bowl and dilute it with half a cup of hot water (straight from the tap if you've run the heater long enough). Add a tablespoon of baking soda, and—believe it or not—squeeze in a cup of orange juice or natural lemon juice.

Let it sit for about half an hour, then scrub the oven thoroughly with gloves.
