Does this Terrifying Creature Really Exist? A Photographer Shakes the Internet with Proof

A professional photographer from Lithuania, named Eugenius Kavaliauskas, recently made waves on social media worldwide by sharing a particularly creepy close-up of an insect we all know.

"I am always looking for new details in objects and corners that have never been explored," says Eugenius after his photo, a close-up of an ant's head, was published in a photography competition by NIKON. According to him, the original photo is five times smaller than the size shown in the competition, where the ant's eyes appear especially deep, and its jaws are particularly scary.

"I found this ant near my home in Tauragė, western Lithuania," recalls the photographer. "I am fascinated by all the creations of Hashem, and I take every opportunity given to me to document His masterpieces in nature."

Eugenius also adds that photography helps him discover new worlds in familiar things that most of us tend to see in too superficial a way, in his opinion. While many people claimed the photo looks like a terrifying creature straight out of a horror film, Eugenius thinks it's "another opportunity to marvel and be impressed by the special creatures that Hashem created for us here."
