#VALUE!
This hack is making waves online, and for good reason.
Removing fish skin isn't a simple task for those who haven't mastered this skill. For years, I tried to avoid taking off half the fish along with the skin, but it just didn't work. I always had to give up some of my beloved fish meat because I couldn't get the skin off by itself—until now.
Thanks to this amazing hack that's circulating online, I can assure you that if I, who practically 'live' online, hadn't come across it before now, then many of you probably haven't either.
In many kitchens, it's common practice to separate the skin from the fish when it's frozen. Some say this is the best method, and it's what I've 'adopted' recently—but not with much success, as cutting through the skin itself was tough and tedious.
So, what do you do? The trending hack suggests placing the fish on a rack positioned over a bowl. The fish is placed so that the skin is facing up and the fish meat is on the rack.
Now, boil a kettle of water and carefully pour the hot water over your fish slowly and patiently, ensuring the hot water covers the entire skin area. This way, the skin softens and separates from the meat, allowing you to easily peel it off the meat with your fingers.
