Tragic Accident: Social Media Star's Untimely Death

In Thailand, a young social media influencer known for her speedy meat-eating videos died in a sudden and tragic way after choking on a skewer. It appears she was eating too fast.

The influencer, who was 27-year-old Arisara Karbdecho, was rushed to the hospital last March after choking on a skewer while millions of her followers watched in shock on social media.

For three long months, Arisara remained in a coma, until this week when she succumbed. "We tried to save her and fought for her life. She arrived at the hospital with food blocking her throat and airway. We had no choice but to put her on a ventilator, and this past Monday, she took her last breath," her doctors explained.

"We were all devastated when we heard what happened," recounted her friend Sirikanda Chaiburut. "We prayed for her recovery. I can't believe she's no longer with us."

Now, Arisara's mother warns other young people who seek fame through such dangerous challenges online. "I urge all the teenagers who followed my daughter, be careful. Take care of your health, eat slowly, and rest between bites. Don't eat fast or engage in life-threatening activities. I wouldn't wish this sorrow on anyone in the world."
