Meet the 10-Year-Old Genius Smarter Than Einstein and Hawking

Adhara Perez, only ten years old from Mexico City, has been declared to have an IQ higher than Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, breaking stereotypes about people with 'developmental disorders'.

Perez now holds a record IQ of 162, which is two points above both Einstein and Hawking, who each had a score of 160.

The journey to sharing her brilliance with the world has not been smooth. According to the popular 'People' magazine, Perez was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at age three. For those unfamiliar, this syndrome places a child on the autism spectrum developmentally.

In school, she faced constant teasing and ridicule. Her peers labeled her as 'weird', but deep down, Adhara knew she was special, different, and excelled in many areas.

A particularly memorable incident for her mother was when Adhara wanted to join the other kids in the yard, but they locked her in a small house and started chanting: "Weird, weird." "Then they began kicking the house she was locked in. Seeing this hurt me deeply. I didn't want her to suffer. She said she didn't want to go to school anymore, and I understood her," her mother recalled.

Even her teachers didn't recognize her exceptional abilities. "Her teacher claimed she sleeps in class and doesn't put effort into learning. I, on the other hand, was aware my daughter had a good understanding of mathematics and the periodic table, so I decided to take her to a psychiatrist," remarked her mother.

Looking back, this decision saved her daughter.

The psychiatrist immediately recognized her as an exceptional child and suggested her mom enroll her in online degree programs. Perez completed elementary school by age five, middle school by age six, and high school by age eight. Now, at just ten, she is studying for two online degrees—one in industrial engineering and mathematics and another in CNC systems engineering.

Nowadays, referred to as a 'child prodigy', she finds time to inspire other children facing similar challenges, having published a book titled 'Don't Give Up'. Although she is not yet a woman, the prestigious 'Forbes' magazine lists her as one of Mexico's 100 most powerful women.
