"Friends, meet... This is a menorah made of pure silver.

It is over 200 years old. It survived the Holocaust after being buried in a landfill in Arnhem, Netherlands.

After the war, it was retrieved from its hiding place and began its journey to Israel, passing through three generations from father to son upon reaching the age of 70 until it finally reached us.

Every year, I am deeply moved to see it shining brightly in our home, filling our hearts.

Nothing in this world should be taken for granted. Happy Chanukah! May we all have a year full of light and love."
