#VALUE!
How many miracles are there in the world? A lot, thank Hashem. Nemanja Spasojavic often swims along one of the beaches in California, in San Mateo County, without fear. Last weekend, he headed for his usual swim, but it turned into a dramatic event when Spasojavic was bitten by a white shark.
Spasojavic (38), a San Francisco resident, shared in an interview that he was casually walking on the beach when he suddenly felt a sharp pain and a strong push. "It felt very quick, like a mosquito bite," he recounted. When he looked down, he saw a terrifying shark sinking its teeth deep into his leg.
By the grace of heaven, Spasojavic managed to escape the shark's grip, limped back to shore while bleeding, and tried to call for help. A local fisherman heard his cries and came to his aid. "I shouted to him, 'Help, shark attack.' It took me a little while to get his attention, but as soon as he saw me, I collapsed onto the sand," he said.
Spasojavic's leg bore 10 deep, bleeding puncture wounds, causing him to limp, but thankfully he did not suffer serious injuries. "He just gave a gentle bite and let go," Spasojavic stated. "If it wasn't for that gentle bite, I wouldn't be here today to tell the story."
After receiving treatment at the hospital, Spasojavic was released home the same day to recover from his injury. "I'm probably the luckiest guy in the world. I was bitten by a white shark and went home the same day," he said.
