A post on social media touched the hearts of many readers. The post invited everyone to send their best wishes to a boy named Jonathan who reached the age of Bar Mitzvah. However, due to COVID-19, he celebrated at home via Zoom, feeling down about the circumstances.
The Jewish community was moved, and hundreds responded with messages that brought joy to Jonathan's father, Elad Gabai, prompting him to share another picture of his son.

What were the responses like? Here are a few that we are sure will warm your heart, just as they did ours:
Rinat Or wrote: "Congratulations Jonathan, may you find strength and protection during these times as you transition from a boy to a young man. May you experience happiness, joy, blessings, and have everything turn out well. Celebrate with everyone as you should, and may only good things come your way."
Tal Ben Samian wrote: "Congratulations. You have entered the age of mitzvot, and from here, you'll only grow. Always find joy, even in the harder times, and remember that there is no despair in the world for any Jew. Smile and look at your parents, who did everything they could to make you happy so that this holy day you reached is celebrated."
Shir Tamir-Amikam wrote: "Congratulations sweet boy. You have reached Bar Mitzvah, the age where you begin to become an adult. Despite the current challenges, always smile, always be happy, and know that the sky's the limit. Whatever you wish for can come true."
Diti Assayag wrote: "Mazel tov. Rise and succeed with Hashem's help! I understand your feelings, but try to focus on the good things around. And after all this, you can have a big, joyful party."
