Finding insects in our food can be unpleasant, but this was exactly the situation a famous radio broadcaster in England faced three days ago, and he decided to handle it differently.
Sam Darlaston bought a bag of broccoli from the giant food chain 'Tesco', but when he prepared to cook his favorite vegetable dish, he was shocked. "There were no less than seven caterpillars," he exclaimed.

"Tesco, I was about to cook my all-time favorite vegetable, and after tearing open the plastic, I found caterpillars inside," Darlaston wrote on his Twitter page, alongside a photo capturing the unexpected sight. "They're quite nice," he added, giving a humorous 'twist' to the story as he decided to transform the experience into a comedic one.
"We've decided to keep them at home as our pets," the radio host continued, describing the daily developments of the caterpillars to thousands of his followers. "We've named this one Cedric. He's from Spain—or at least we assume the broccoli is from there—and he dances after eating spinach all day."
The radio host continued to update about his caterpillars and their transformation from caterpillars into butterflies. Eventually, he posted a picture of a yellow butterfly that emerged from one of the caterpillars on their Facebook page.
