When Courtney and Philip Garrett tied the knot in New Orleans, USA, they knew they wanted children. For years, they tried to conceive but faced challenges until they decided to undergo fertility treatments.
Just months after starting treatment, Courtney received the most wonderful news – she was pregnant. "When we went for the ultrasound, we watched the doctor gaze at the screen in amazement, waiting eagerly for his words. We knew it was going to be good news."
"You're having triplets," the doctor announced with pride.
"It was an amazing moment," Philip recalls. "We awaited this birth like someone waits for a lottery jackpot, a few million dollars."
Today, the triplets – boys Oliver and Jack, and girl Ellie – are nine years old. But two years ago, when they were seven, another big surprise was in store.
"After seven years, we realized we wanted to grow our family and tried to conceive naturally this time. Thankfully, it worked, and I soon discovered I was pregnant."
But once again, a cinematic surprise awaited them. "The doctor called us into his office and explained that the fertility treatments I underwent might have accelerated natural biological processes, leading to another set of triplets," Courtney concludes.
In an interview with WWL-TV, doctors stated that such a rare case has been documented only once more in the entire world. Isn't it a wonder of Hashem?
