Heartfelt Moment: Jogger Stops for Homeless Man and Offers Shoes

A candid moment captured by a New Yorker has gone viral, touching millions around the globe. "It was 9 a.m.," wrote the user known as Antonella. "I saw a jogger, in the middle of his morning run, suddenly stop beside a homeless man, give him his sneakers, and then continue walking barefoot through the streets."

In the video, the runner—a man around 60—stops next to a young homeless man sitting on the street without shoes. He takes off his running shoes and places them beside the homeless man. Bewildered but grateful, the homeless man accepts the gift and seconds later puts the shoes on his feet. 

"Our true character is revealed by what we do when we think no one is watching us," Antonella concluded in her post accompanying the video.
