A Chinese tourist visiting Australia was amazed by the low price of milk and decided to consume it in a unique but amusing way.
The story began when the tourist arrived at the airport with his suitcase, where security found a 3-liter bottle of milk among his belongings. He was asked to dispose of the bottle, as it's common in many places worldwide to prohibit taking liquids out of the country. Realizing he had to part with his milk, the tourist decided to drink it on the spot.
Before the astonished eyes of the onlookers, the tourist proceeded to chug all three liters, explaining to the gathering crowd that "milk in Australia is cheaper than water in China, and it's a shame to waste it," according to a report from the 'Daily Mail'.
Just how cheap, you ask? To put it into perspective, a liter of milk in Australia costs about half a euro, whereas in China, the price ranges from 6 to 8 euros.
