Spreading like wildfire: A tip shared online about keeping strawberries fresh and delicious weeks after purchase is gaining traction.
And how's the internet responding?
"I tried it and it also works with blueberries," wrote one commenter. "I thought the taste would be awful, but it doesn't affect it at all," added another, as comments piled up from users trying it out and confirming its success.
"All you need is a bowl, a cup of water, and vinegar," explained the user in a special video that went viral on Facebook. The user placed the strawberries in a bowl and poured a cup of vinegar followed by five cups of water over them.
"You don't need to leave it for long," he said. "I promise you won't notice any difference after doing this. There's not a hint of vinegar taste left on the strawberries," he concluded.
