Three years ago, McKinley, Chloe, Ava, and Lauren first met under challenging circumstances at a local hospital in Florida. All four were battling cancer, facing incredibly tough journeys on their own. Despite their young age, the girls bonded and supported each other through their crises. "They would hug, play, and even cry together," their parents shared in an interview with FOX13.
Through a long, emotional process, the four girls overcame all obstacles and eventually beat cancer. Since then, they return every year to St. Petersburg Hospital for a touching photo series, revisiting the walls where their lives were saved. "It is amazing to see how far they have come since they were little bald babies," Ava's mother remarked.
McKinley, Ava, and Lauren were diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, while Chloe faced a rare lung cancer. When asked how they maintain such close ties, little McKinley touched the hearts of millions when she said, "We are united because our blood was all sick."
