A photo posted on social media quickly went viral, gathering over 30,000 likes in a short time. The picture, taken at a McDonald's branch in Thailand, shows a 19-year-old employee sitting at a table with a disabled diner, feeding him.
The young man's sensitivity touched the hearts of thousands online. After the photo went viral, the branch manager commented, "This is exactly what we seek in our employees—compassion and care for diners with disabilities," he said.
The touching photo was captured by a diner named Li Ting, who shared it on his Facebook page with the following caption: "This picture was taken today at a McDonald's branch in Shaonzu Town. It shows an employee feeding a disabled diner who couldn't eat on his own. People like him are disappearing from our world, and witnessing this scene truly moved us."
According to Li Ting, it wasn't just the noble act of the worker that moved him, but the sense of dignity he provided to the disabled diner. "Instead of feeling embarrassed in front of other diners because he couldn't eat alone, and with every bite ending in ketchup spills on his face and clothes—the diner felt like a normal person. He didn't seem ashamed of the help he received. On the contrary, the love and patience the employee showed helped him feel like a friend. Between bites of his burger, he chatted and laughed with the worker. So thank you to this devoted employee for your wonderful deed. We all need to learn from you," Li Ting concluded his post.
