A Saudi engineer named Mohammad Sair is stirring the tech world with his innovative invention designed to alleviate the intense heat in Saudi Arabia: a unique umbrella equipped with a fan and special cooling system powered by one of three methods: solar energy, water, or batteries. Sair dedicated many months to devising suitable solutions for millions of Muslims who pilgrimage to Mecca every year, enduring the country's extreme heat.
Dubbed the 'Makkah Air-Conditioned Umbrella,' this special umbrella has already garnered hundreds of orders from around the world for this groundbreaking product, which is set to bring Sair significant financial reward. The umbrella features a special motor with two speeds and can also be operated using a regular water bottle. A manual pump draws water upward, while the umbrella itself weighs about 600 grams and is constructed from strong, drop-resistant material. Additionally, the umbrella is equipped with an advanced GPS system.
A major launch event was held this week in the city of Jeddah, and users who have already experienced this product report that it can operate continuously for eight hours, with its mechanism designed to conserve water.
