Inbal Segev, who is buried at the site, tragically passed away in a fire at her apartment in 2014. She managed to call emergency services before succumbing to the blaze..
For 17 days, Inbal fought for her life. She sustained second-degree burns over 44% of her body, severe internal injuries, and lung damage from inhaling smoke. Her father recounts her final moments: "On the fourth day, she woke up and opened her eyes, and I thought it was a good sign. I prayed and spoke with rabbis in Israel and abroad, who all wished for her recovery. The only ones who didn't give me hope were Rabbi Firer, who probably foresaw the outcome, and the doctor, who said it was hopeless. I stayed by her bedside the entire time, not leaving her for a moment, until she passed away. She was laid to rest at the Nahariya cemetery".
