In these challenging times, when soldiers and fighters are required to man their posts so that we feel more protected and secure — even the smallest thought of their self-sacrifice far from their homes can lead to a small act for them, which is truly very significant: For example, a particular yeshiva in Jerusalem went above and beyond by setting up a Shabbat table filled with a variety of goodies for the soldiers serving near the yeshiva.

Wine, a Kiddush cup, bread, cooked food, canned goods, and sweets — it wasn't just about what was placed on the table but the huge, embracing, and loving heart behind it, a beautiful gesture in every sense. A gesture that only the soldiers in the field can truly appreciate for its priceless value.
