An interesting story of divine providence was shared with us by David Weissenshturn from Jerusalem:
"I wanted to share an intriguing incident that happened last year in my parents' sukkah.
On the first day of Sukkot last year, it rained in Jerusalem for a long time, and we were worried that the decorations and the white fabric would get dirty from day one. But the next morning, we woke up to see that the sukkah remained white and clean. However, in the center, next to other decorations, a big stain appeared in the shape of an etrog. Out of curiosity, we tried to trace the origin of the stain but found nothing. The walls of the sukkah were smooth, clean, and without blemish.
It felt as if Hashem, in His own right, "hung" this natural decoration for us right in the place that had been empty and seemingly prepared for this purpose.
We didn't understand why this happened to us, but then our dad jokingly said that maybe it was because this year he decided to invest extra thought and money in buying the etrog, despite being under significant financial pressure.
I'm not sure if that's the real reason, but what is certain is that throughout the festival, this feeling accompanied us, and we felt blessed with a unique closeness to Hashem."
