1. Although many believe that the part of our body containing the most fat is the backside (often used by doctors as a donor site in various surgical procedures), this is a misconception. Our brain is actually the fattest organ in our body, containing about 60% fat within it. 

2. The contribution of sleep to the brain's proper functioning is well-known, important, and crucial. During sleep, our brain 'resets' itself—organizing the thoughts we've had during the day, sorting accumulated memories, and preparing for the next day. 

3. It's a common belief that humans use only about 10% of their brain's true potential, but this is fundamentally incorrect. Numerous studies have shown that the average person uses much more than that.

4. Why is it that when we tickle ourselves, the reaction is completely different (and somewhat disappointing) compared to when someone else tickles us? The answer, as you might have guessed, is directly related to our brain: When we tickle ourselves, the brain isn't surprised because it already 'knows' what we're going to do and 'prepares' itself. In contrast, when someone else tickles us, the brain is 'caught off guard,' and the automatic laughter is its way of saying 'I was surprised.' 

5. Sometimes we complain of such severe headaches that it feels like they come from the 'brain.' It's important to know that our brain is not equipped with pain receptors, so what hurts is the head, not the brain.
