Thousands of viewers worldwide were shocked by this video, showcasing a frightening creature discovered on Mexican soil and dubbed the Mexican Alien Baby. Swiftly, this bizarre being grabbed the attention of the global scientific community, as many researchers clustered around, trying to decipher what they were witnessing. Initially believed to be an 'alien' that landed on Earth, opinions shifted to view it as a 'hybrid' of various animals, and finally, upon further lab examinations, it was conclusively debunked: neither alien nor a hybrid, but an outright hoax.
Reactions poured in on Facebook regarding the video: 'Amazing', 'Unbelievable', 'Here's proof for all skeptics that aliens exist', and many others. One viewer intriguingly commented that 'this phenomenon has been known for ages, making it clear that aliens exist. It’s even written in the Book of Zohar—yet what we don’t understand is that they didn’t come from another world, but are part of ours.'
So what’s the real explanation for this peculiar discovery? We were curious too.
The UK's Channel 4 investigated the creature with 3D mapping and advanced DNA tests,' explains Daniel Bales, editor of Torah and Science section at Hidabroot. 'Professor Donald Quicke identified the "baby alien" as an ordinary monkey. A man named Urso Ruiz crafted the hoax, eventually admitting he fashioned his "alien" from a dead monkey sent to the zoo he worked at. I've seen no quotes from the Zohar claiming new creatures would emerge in the end times. If anyone has evidence, I’d love to examine it.'
Do you see? The problem with these kinds of videos is that many of us are quick to believe everything we see without questioning or, at the very least, asking, investigating, and verifying if it’s a genuine discovery. This 'small' hoax misled millions globally, persuading them to believe in something that was never there—and meanwhile, someone gained the coveted ratings they wanted (even through crooked and inconsiderate methods).
So how do you avoid falling for every 'real' video online? It’s quite simple: Unlike other religions, Judaism, and our sacred Torah, encourages us to ask questions about various occurrences and to delve deeper, understanding the world around us rather than taking anything for granted. Yet another life lesson..
