Thanks to birth records released by the Ohio Department of Health for individuals born between 1964 and 1996, two women discovered they are mother and daughter. Sonia Mitchell Clark (38) from Ohio knew she was adopted and had been making efforts for months to trace her biological mother.
This determination led her to contact the health authorities in her city, requesting her birth records. Upon receiving them, she launched a frantic search on Facebook for the name 'Francine Simmons', her biological mother's name as appeared on the records. Her search was brief, but when she successfully found Simmons and read a few details about her on her personal profile, she was stunned to realize she knew her from her workplace (where Simmons served as a receptionist).
Mitchell was overwhelmed with emotion and, with the help of friends, managed to make initial contact with her biological mother after 38 years apart. In their phone conversation, which lasted many hours, the two cried and expressed their immense joy for this 'lost' reunion. "I'm still in shock," Simmons shared during their call, revealing that since the pregnancy was unexpected and she was very young, she gave her daughter up for adoption. "I had the chance to see her and hold her, but I didn't even get to give her a name. I always wanted to meet her again," the emotional mother expressed.
*In accurate expression search should be used in quotas. For example: "Family Pure", "Rabbi Zamir Cohen" and so on
