The Adorable Sea Creature Wowing Japan Online

At first glance, this white blob looks like a giant, soft marshmallow decorated with black spots, but take a closer look and you'll see ears and even a name: nice to meet you, Parva Jorunna, or the 'sea bunny.'

For several weeks, Japanese social media has been buzzing with images of a 'furry' ocean slug with ears, scientifically known as Parva Jorunna. This sightless mollusk uses its ears to navigate its environment in the Indian Ocean. These ears also help it taste and smell its food before it reaches its 'mouth' (don’t ask us where that is located).
