As anti-Semitism resurfaces worldwide and Jews feel newly afraid, this class reframes the panic through a striking Torah lens: the first “anti-Semitic” threat in Egypt looked external — but behind the mask stood Yosef, the brother. While many threats appear to come from enemies outside, they are ultimately God's “disguise” intended to awaken us to what’s happening within: division, grudges, humiliation, and family or communal strife.
