In this week’s Torah portion, Parshat Nitzavim, Moshe gathers all of Am Yisrael to enter into a covenant with God. This covenant binds not only those standing there, but also all future generations — including us today! Moshe warns against abandoning God, but also promises the most beautiful gift of Teshuva (repentance). Even in exile, Hashem will gather us back, renew our hearts, and bless us again.
