We've written extensively about ginger and its wonders, but now a new ginger drink with a small twist is taking the internet by storm. What are its pros and cons, and how do you prepare it?

We've written extensively about ginger and its wonders, but now a new ginger drink with a small twist is taking the Internet by storm.
The base for this drink is, of course, water, but not ordinary water. It involves steeping lemon, mint, cucumber, and finely grated fresh ginger root. "This drink has taken social media by storm and was later reviewed by experts who confirmed: when the water 'absorbs' all these magical components, it becomes a miracle water that reduces belly bloating and cleanses the body of toxins," as reported by the British Daily Mail.
But, as with anything requiring moderation, this 'diet' should be practiced for no more than four days, during which the inclusion of intense physical activity (for healthy individuals) and avoidance of fried and oily foods is recommended.
How to prepare it?
This amazing drink requires a liter and a half of mineral water into which you add thin slices of one lemon, thin slices of one cucumber, a handful of mint leaves, and a tablespoon of freshly grated ginger. The water should be kept in the fridge and not consumed until at least 8 hours have passed.
What are the cons?
It can cause heartburn and lead to mood swings.
