Aleppo Emptied of Jews: The Last Two Jewish Women Rescued to Israel
In a covert operation, the last two Jewish women were recently smuggled out of Aleppo amidst bombings and sniper fire. Only a handful of Jews remain in Syria. Ancient synagogues are empty, there is no one to care for cemeteries and holy sites, and communication with the last Jews in the country, mostly elderly, has been severed due to fear of eavesdropping.
