Read the Morning Blessings

Hello and blessings! Here are the morning blessings as per the Sephardic tradition: "Modeh/Modeh Ani Lefanecha, Melech Chai V'kayam, Shehechezarta Bi Nishmati B'chemla, Raba Emunatecha." Blessed are you, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us about the washing of the hands. Blessed are you, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who created man with wisdom, and created within him openings and hollows. It is obvious and known before Your throne of glory that if one of them were to be ruptured, or to be blocked, it would be impossible to survive for even a short time. Blessed are You, Hashem, who heals all flesh and does wonders. My God, the soul you placed within me is pure. You created it, you formed it, you breathed it into me, you guard it within me, and in the future, you will take it from me and return it to me in the future to come. As long as the soul is within me, I thank You, Hashem, my God and God of my fathers, Master of all works, Lord of all souls. Blessed are You, Hashem, who restores souls to lifeless bodies. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who gives the rooster understanding to distinguish between day and night. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who opens the eyes of the blind. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who frees the imprisoned. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who straightens the bent. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who clothes the naked. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who gives strength to the weary. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who spreads out the earth upon the waters. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who directs the steps of man. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who has provided for all my needs. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who girds Israel with might. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who crowns Israel with splendor. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who has not made me a foreigner. (A woman recites: a foreign woman.) Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who has not made me a servant. (A woman recites: maidservant.) Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who has not made me a woman. (A woman recites without mention of God's name or kingdom: Blessed be He who made me according to His will.) Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who removes sleep from my eyes and slumber from my eyelids. May it be Your will, Hashem, my God and God of my ancestors, to accustom me in Your Torah, and make me cling to Your commandments, and do not bring me to the hands of sin, nor to the hands of transgression, nor to the hands of challenge, nor to the hands of scorn. Distance me from the evil inclination, and make me cleave to the good inclination, and subdue my inclination to be subservient to You, and grant me today and all days grace, lovingkindness, and compassion in Your eyes and in the eyes of all who see me, and bestow kindnesses upon me. Blessed are You, Hashem, who bestows kindnesses upon His nation Israel. May it be Your will, Hashem, my God and God of my ancestors, to rescue me today and every day from brazen people, from brazen demeanor, from evil inclination, from bad companion, from bad neighbor, from harmful circumstance, from evil eye, and from evil tongue, from harsh judgment, and from a harsh opponent, whether he is a member of the covenant or not a member of the covenant. Torah Blessings: Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us concerning the words of Torah. Please, Hashem, our God, let the words of Your Torah be sweet in our mouths and in the mouths of Your people, the family of Israel. May we and our offspring and the offspring of our offspring know Your name and learn Your Torah for its own sake. Blessed are You, Hashem, who teaches Torah to His people Israel. Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who has chosen us from all nations and given us His Torah. Blessed are You, Hashem, who gives the Torah. May Hashem bless you and protect you, shine His face upon you and be gracious to you, lift His face upon you and give you peace, and place My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.
