The funeral of an elderly woman who passed away due to illness sparked significant interest. As the procession began, stray dogs arrived, forming their own kind of procession and began howling in an unusual way, as if paying their last respects to the woman who cared for them by providing food.
Margarita Suarez, a resident of Yucatan, Mexico, was well-known for this hobby. Her relatives recalled that every morning she would distribute food scraps to the dogs and cats that frequented her home, yet she didn't stop there. During her walks, she carried a large bag filled with leftovers, just in case she encountered hungry animals.
Suarez's family was incredibly surprised, along with funeral home employees, who were astonished to see dogs gathering one by one around Suarez's coffin, refusing to leave the area. According to the funeral home employees, these were dogs they had never seen before in the area. That realization led Suarez's astonished family to understand that these were the same dogs she used to feed, who had come to pay their respects and accompany her on her final journey.
