New videos sharing tips to prevent nausea and vomiting have garnered millions of views on social media in less than a week, with a doctor's approval of their effectiveness.

One of the videos features a young woman named Isabella demonstrating how to overcome nausea using a small amount of sanitizing alcohol on a paper towel. The video, which has amassed millions of views in a day and reached 60 million views to date, includes several tips which an Indian doctor named Dr. Karan Raj confirms as effective.

According to Isabella, we sometimes feel persistent nausea for several days, and in such cases, these methods are worth trying:

- Smell hand sanitizer applied to a paper towel gently without inhaling deeply.

"You should smell it gently and not inhale it," Dr. Raj explains, confirming the method as effective.

- Lifting the tongue to the roof of your mouth and pressing your thumb on your forehead for 20 seconds.

"This is indeed a known and established method," Dr. Raj explains. "We find it in medical literature, particularly in research published in a journal for dentists in the USA. There, researchers examined how hand pressure affects the gag reflex and found that applying pressure during a dental procedure reduces the gag reflex.

"Some use acupuncture instead of pressure, and this method also proved effective because acupuncture accelerates the synthesis process of serotonin HT-5, and serotonin is what controls the gag reflex."
