Is it permissible to go on a trip or to a hotel knowing there won't be a minyan for prayer?
Those who go to hotels or trips in situations where they know there won't be a minyan have no basis for their actions, and they are deliberately forfeiting Kaddish, Kedusha, Barchu and more [Shevet HaLevi 6, 21\ Teshuvot V'Hanhagot 2, 63].
Is it permissible for a prayer leader to begin the repetition with only six people who have finished praying?
If people are rushing to work, one can be lenient and begin the repetition with six people who have finished [Responsa of the Rishon L'Tzion 2, p. 38].
