#VALUE!

Most people think that symptoms like a runny nose or sore throat are the illness but in truth, those symptoms are just the body’s way of healing. Illness actually begins before we feel anything. And unfortunately, many times, modern medicine interrupts this healing process.

Before symptoms even appear, the body tries to get our attention. It speaks to us through pain, inflammation, or even emotional signals like sadness or low energy. These are warning signs that something inside needs our help. But we’ve forgotten how to listen to the body’s language. It’s time to relearn.

What Really Causes Disease?

Here are two of the main causes:

  1. Toxins and Waste
When we eat unhealthy food or expose ourselves to harmful substances, waste builds up in our body. Instead of helping us build strength and energy, these foods leave behind toxins that must be removed. Coffee, for example, stimulates the body in a way that can stress the heart and kidneys. It uses up the body’s precious energy and weakens our natural ability to heal.

  2. Exhausted Nervous System
When our nervous system is tired, our body can’t get rid of toxins effectively. That’s why it’s so important to strengthen the organs that help us detox naturally like the liver, skin, kidneys, lungs, and intestines. Touch therapies (like massage or gentle pressure points) can help calm the nervous system and restore balance. And don’t forget the power of fresh fruits and vegetables. They’re rich in vitamins and minerals, which act like Hashem’s natural cleaning tools inside the body.

The 4 Stages of Disease Development

  1. Stage One – Acute Illness
This is when the illness first appears like a cold, runny nose, or mild flu. A strong body reacts quickly and powerfully. This is actually a good thing! But many people try to stop this stage with medicine. That’s a mistake. Let the body rest and do its job. If we suppress these symptoms, we risk deeper illness later on.

  2. Stage Two – Subacute Illness
When we block the first stage with medicine (like drying out the nose), the illness may go deeper. Instead of a runny nose, we now have bronchitis. The body has to work harder to expel toxins, and healing takes longer.

  3. Stage Three – Chronic Illness
This is when the illness settles into a specific organ or body system. A cold that keeps coming back may become a chronic cough. That cough can turn into asthma. At this point, we’re not dealing with a simple illness anymore. The body’s attempts to expel toxins are stopped with medications that block symptoms like asthma drugs that stop the phlegm, but don’t remove it.

  4. Stage Four – Degenerative Illness
This is the most serious stage. The organ itself starts to break down. For example, repeated use of steroid inhalers for asthma may stop the phlegm but at a cost. The lungs grow weaker because the medicine prevents them from clearing waste naturally. Sometimes the body builds up strength and tries again, another asthma attack. But again, we suppress it. Eventually, this cycle weakens the organ more and more.

It’s important to say: in emergencies, Western medicine can save lives. There’s no question. But when we rely on it too much, it can interfere with the body’s natural healing wisdom. Even in serious cases like asthma, natural methods like gentle chest pressure points and breathing exercises can help reduce symptoms safely if done properly.

How Do Chronic Illnesses Form?

When a disease becomes chronic, it means the healing process was blocked and couldn’t be completed. Here are a few common reasons this happens:

  1. The cause isn’t removed.
For example, someone with high blood pressure continues eating salty food, lots of saturated fats, and overeats late at night. Their pressure won’t go down unless the root behaviors change.

  2. Medications block the body’s healing work.
Cough medicines may quiet the symptom, but they stop the body from clearing the lungs. The illness doesn’t leave, it just gets buried deeper.

  3. Long-term damage occurs.
Some activities cause lasting harm to organs. Smoking over many years changes the structure of the lungs. Heavy drinking can damage the liver beyond repair. These are examples of how unhealthy habits turn into serious conditions that are harder to reverse.
