When it comes to dieting, eating fruits can be a fantastic way to accelerate weight loss: Not only do they have relatively low calorie levels, but fruits also contain many nutrients that contribute to a feeling of fullness. One fruit that nutrition experts often recommend in combination with a healthy lifestyle is grapefruit, and there are plenty of recipes online for consuming it in a way that can help you lose weight quickly.

One of these is this energy drink, which an American blogger admitted and shared was "what helped me lose 24 pounds in a month, almost effortlessly," after he claims he consumed the drink every evening after meals. "The enzymes in grapefruit make it a superfood that greatly aids in shedding extra pounds," he explains on the blog "feel healthy life."

"I drink my magic drink every day, half an hour after dinner," he tells his audience and even explains, step by step, the benefits of the red grapefruit, which he prefers. "All you need is half a grapefruit and half a tablespoon of honey in a blender with half a cup of mineral water. Drink it after dinner, at least twenty minutes after you finish eating. It’s a juice that speeds up calorie burning and also provides a prolonged feeling of fullness."

"The pectin and lycopene, which are abundant in grapefruit, help lower insulin levels, are excellent for detoxifying the body, and more. You'll find that the more you get used to it, the harder it will be to stop consuming it," he concluded.

According to him, it’s also a juice that is very helpful in healing winter ailments such as colds and sore throats.
