#VALUE!
Many people around the world, especially children, love to suck on lemons eagerly and sometimes add salt and black pepper. Yes, these are ingredients most of us add to salads or dishes, but even as a child, I remember myself at my late Grandpa Azar's farm in Shomera, climbing the lemon tree and looking for a particularly large lemon on which I could sprinkle as much salt and pepper as possible. I can still hear the anger of the adults who used to tell me how unhealthy it was, but now - thanks to an amazing article published on dozens of health enthusiast websites in English, my fears have somewhat subsided.
One of the bloggers especially reassured me when she said she has been drinking this beverage for many months, and at first no one believed her that it could significantly alleviate at least nine health issues. "The friends who saw me doing it used to look at me strangely. They laughed and said I must have a 'stomach of steel' if I'm able to drink such a bomb containing sourness, spiciness, and saltiness simultaneously," she writes and adds: "I've researched this topic for months, and as someone dedicated to your health - you don't really think I'm trying to sell you gimmicks on my blog, right? Anyway, I want to believe not."
"These ingredients together are better than many other medicines I know, and hey... it costs much less - so why not try it?" she concludes, laying out for her readers all the problems this drink resolved for her, without needing medication. "Nausea, toothaches, colds following the flu, aid in weight loss, relief for sore throats, viral mouth sores, relief from gallstones and their natural removal, relief from asthma attacks I suffer from, and more."
"A quarter cup of squeezed lemon, a quarter teaspoon of salt, a quarter teaspoon of black pepper - that's what I drink every morning, and I just feel great. Sometimes I drink it on an empty stomach, but it's less recommended because of the bad feeling it can cause you afterward. I'm already used to it, and it bothers me less, but for those who aren't used to it, it's better to consume the drink on a full stomach, about twenty minutes after you've finished eating."
