Looking for an effective, natural tip for teeth whitening? You might be interested to know that over 1500 studies have examined the components of organic coconut oil, finding it characterized by antibacterial properties, making it exceptional in maintaining oral cleanliness and health.

In research published by Dr. Damien Brady from the U.S., he writes that the uniqueness of coconut oil is measured by its phenomenal ability to prevent the spread of streptococcus bacteria, which are the primary cause of cavities.

In other words, coconut oil is as effective as toothpastes containing the ingredient triclosan—which acts similarly. Since popular toothpastes contain fluoride, a highly toxic substance responsible for numerous cases of fluoride poisoning annually in the U.S., Dr. Brady recommends using coconut oil as an alternative to industrial toothpastes, which mostly contain this chemical toxin.

To prepare the natural toothpaste, he suggests only two ingredients are needed—organic coconut oil and baking soda. Dr. Brady elaborates that baking soda is characterized by its amazing abilities to regulate acidity levels in the mouth, eliminate bacteria causing decay, and whiten teeth.

For preparing the natural whitening paste, mix in a suitable container—eight teaspoons of organic coconut oil and an equal amount of baking soda. Mix the paste well and store it in a closed container—preferably a glass jar. You can also add a drop of peppermint oil, and your paste is ready.
