Love Raw Fish Sushi? You Won't Believe What Was Discovered Recently
Before dining at any restaurant, it’s advisable to check their hygiene standards regarding the food served to you. Why? The bacteria-laden sushi found in six popular local restaurants is just the tip of the iceberg in the broader issue of non-compliance with Ministry of Health regulations.

#VALUE!
If you're a fan of Japanese sushi, you probably already know that one of the more popular dishes is sushi with raw fish. The 'Yediot Aharonot' newspaper decided to take action and examined seven well-known chains that sell salmon sushi. Guess what was found? You guessed it. Six (!) out of the seven chains failed in providing sushi with salmon that was teeming with coliform bacteria - precisely 7,000,000 bacteria per gram, which is 14 times the allowable limit according to the Ministry of Health regulations.
Although coliforms are not pathogenic bacteria (like salmonella), they do indicate inadequate handling of food products, suggesting that the sushi served is not fit for human consumption.
