Soon, You Can Drink Your Sunscreen Instead of Applying It

An American dermatologist who discovered that many of his patients do not use sunscreen, which leads to severe sun damage, decided to develop a protective drink that can be consumed instead of applied to the skin.

An especially creative solution was recently noted: American dermatologist Dr. Bobby Awadalla has developed a simple solution to the common problem of not using sunscreen among the global population.

Dr. Awadalla noticed that many of his patients avoid using sunscreen, resulting in severe sun damage and various skin diseases. He understood that the reason is the current sunscreen application involves applying it on the body, which deters many due to its white tint and the stains it creates on swimwear.

Furthermore, not only Dr. Awadalla's patients avoid using sunscreen. According to research conducted at the American Center for Disease Control, only about 14% of men and about 30% of women use sunscreen. Additionally, experts claim that even those who use the current sunscreen do not cover their bodies optimally, thereby still risking their health with sun exposure.

In light of all this, Dr. Awadalla decided to develop a sunscreen in the form of a liquid that protects from the sun, which bypasses the problem and provides an appropriate solution. The liquid can be easily consumed as a drink, consisting of vitamins that protect against sun damage for about 3-5 hours, and can be especially effective as it, unlike currently sold sunscreen, protects the body from within.

Currently, the protective liquid is in testing and research phases to verify its efficacy and safety. However, according to researchers who have already been exposed to and tested it, this is truly groundbreaking. "Studies have already proven that there are foods you can eat to reduce the chance of sunburn," said one researcher. "For instance, green tea and tomato paste can protect us from sun damage to some extent, due to the antioxidants and lycopene in these products."

And if you are also waiting for the product's release to the market, you should know in advance that Dr. Awadalla is quick to point out that even after consuming the product, it will still be necessary to wear a hat and use protective measures that protect the body externally, in addition to internal protection.
