If It's Not Fat, It's Bloating. Here's How to Get Rid of It

There is a significant difference between people who suffer from 'stubborn fat' and those who are just bloated. How can you differentiate between the two, and why is it often more important to focus on behavioral patterns rather than different diet methods?

Many studies have shown that it is not just the method that makes a person succeed in shedding body weight, but also their awareness of two important things: A) Sometimes the 'stubborn fat' that insists on sticking around is nothing more than deceptive bloating. B) A bloated stomach has causes, and thus it also has solutions.

Bloating is easier to identify in thin people (usually) - whose body structure is slim, but their belly is bloated like a balloon in comparison.

What are the causes that can lead to bloating?

1. Eating quickly

2. Lack of water intake

3. Constipation

4. Chronic stress

Lack of water intake

An average person needs to drink a minimum of 8-10 glasses of water per day to help their body function properly. Someone who drinks less than this quota (about half of the population) simply risks excessive bloating. When the body doesn't get enough water, it will start 'storing' the fluids it does receive, creating the bloating effect.

Eating quickly

When we chew our food too quickly, the body doesn't have enough time to digest it properly - which may lead to bloating.

Constipation

One of the phenomena causing bloating is constipation. Constipation is the body's way of signaling that we need to consume more fibers, which help release toxic gases that accumulate in the body and create bloating. Dietary fibers are found in whole grains and should be consumed gradually.

Chronic stress

You might be surprised to hear, but a person who is often under heavy stress is more at risk of 'bloating' than someone who lives in a calm, stress-free environment. Stress brings about many ailments such as constipation, stomach aches, and negative energies, and when the body feels a 'climate change,' the digestive system also enters stress and cannot perform its function properly.
