Study: Cell Phone Radiation Linked to Cancer Development
New American Study: Exposure to Cell Phone Radiation Can Lead to Cancer

A study conducted over more than two years on rats concludes: exposure to cell phone radiation can cause cancer development.
The study was conducted in the U.S., carried out by the American National Toxicology Program, with an investment of approximately $25 million. During the study, two groups of rats were compared. One group was exposed to cell phone radiation, while the other was not. Findings showed that the group exposed to the radiation developed cancerous tumors.
The tumors found in the brains of the rats are attributed to whole-body exposure to radiation identical to that of GSM and CDMA devices. Tumors were found in two percent of the males. The females, on the other hand, did not develop cancer but died before the males.
These are preliminary results of the study, which is expected to be published at the end of 2017. However, even the initial results indicate that there is a connection between exposure to cell phone radiation and cancerous tumors.
It should be noted that in the past, cellular companies strongly claimed that there was no link between cancer and cell phone radiation. However, with the publication of this study, their claim was refuted.
Nevertheless, a spokesperson from the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) reminded the public of similar studies that did not sufficiently prove a significant link between cancer development and cell phone use.
