Troubles of the Little Ones: Until you became parents, you never realized how much your baby's teething process could play such a significant role in your and their life. Not to mention the frequent discussions with anyone who might offer a sliver of advice to help you as parents. Yes, it's also very painful to see them so small and suffering so much...

That's why we've compiled several tips to make it easier for you:

1. Gentle Gum Massage – If you gently massage your baby's gums with your fingers, it may offer them significant relief. Of course, it's crucial to wash your hands thoroughly before putting them in their mouth.

2. Soothing Gel – Various gel ointments are available at different pharmacies that are designed to ease the teething process, applied locally to the area where the tooth is emerging. It's very important to only use ointments approved by the Ministry of Health.

3. Homeopathic Remedies – There are various homeopathic remedies on the market aimed at easing teething, and it's advisable to get recommendations for effective ones from professionals or other parents with personal experience.

4. Teething Rings – Typically, you can find teething rings filled with fluid at any baby product or basic toy store. You can freeze or cool them, then give them to the child to play with, put in their mouth, and bite. The cold from the teething ring transfers to the baby's gums, soothing the pain, and can provide great relief.

5. Pain Medication – These should obviously be kept as a last resort, for extreme cases where it seems that your baby is in significant discomfort, and you're sure it isn't due to another health issue that requires treatment. If in doubt, you should consult a doctor first.

It's important to note that generally, teeth erupt at the age of six months, and in rare cases, teeth start to come in after a year and a half, but in any case, all twenty baby teeth should emerge by age three in most children. So don't worry if your baby is already a year old but still smiling a toothless grin...

Additionally, teething is usually accompanied by gum swelling, alongside the baby's restlessness and excessive drooling. If you encounter additional symptoms like diarrhea, ear pain, or high fever, it's not advisable to automatically attribute it to teething but rather visit a doctor to examine your child. According to current medical opinion, teething should not cause such symptoms.

And above all, increase your prayers for your little ones. Nothing can help more than heartfelt prayer from parents over their children...
